Curly Kale
Positive effects on eyes bones and teeth. Reduced risk of tumors.
Description of Curly Kale.
Curly kale (Brassica oleracea var. sabellica) belongs to the Brassicaceae family. It is a leafy vegetable, either annual or biennial. From its robust roots, it forms a head rich in leaves with strongly curled edges and fibrous stems. Depending on the variety, the leaves can be green or reddish, with either curly or smooth surfaces.
Mostly consumed cooked, crumbled, powdered, or as part of sauces and complex recipes, curly kale is one of the most nutrient-dense foods that can reach our tables, and at the same time, one of the least caloric. From vitamins (A, C, K, B6) to minerals (manganese, calcium, copper, potassium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus), to antioxidants (quercetin, beta-carotene, flavonoids), curly kale contains numerous
nutrients beneficial to the body, lowers cholesterol, and protects the eyes.
The health of the curly kale seedlings is preserved through careful monitoring and prevention. Vivai Bacchetto delivers them preferably in containers with 104, 170, and 228 holes.
