Who is
Vivai Bacchetto?

The Nursery
of Chioggia
and Venice

The best land for growth.

Located in Eastern Veneto, in Ca’ Lino di Chioggia, just a few steps from the Adriatic Sea, where winters are mild, summers are temperate, and the sea breeze, with its scents, dissipates any fog.
This is where we plant and grow the seedlings of Vivai Bacchetto.
The Boscolo
Bacchetto Family Nursery
A passion that spreads.

For the Boscolo Bacchetto family, horticulture is a long-standing tradition. In 2003, the company Vivai Bacchetto was born, when the younger members of the family began focusing on the production of high-quality vegetable seedlings, utilizing cutting-edge technologies and tools.

Constant growth and innovation are the driving forces behind the business, which have led it from one excellence to another, achieving today’s results. Vivai Bacchetto now boasts several departments (production, organic production, grafting, phytosanitary control, logistics, Research & Development).

The production covers the entire national territory and an important share of the foreign market: 20% is dedicated to markets in Austria, Germany, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, and Slovakia.

and Medicinal Plants

The Best Fruits
of Technology

Quality is both the rule and the goal. Vivai Bacchetto constantly seeks the most
advanced solutions to protect the health and ensure the optimal growth of seedlings.

In addition to precision seeders, palletizers, automatic extractors, trimmers,
transplanters, carts, and more, the company’s crown jewel is its greenhouses.

All of the nursery's greenhouses are equipped with state-of-the-art technologies.

For example, they are covered with a double plastic film, thermal and highly transparent, and feature an automated system for heating, aeration, ventilation, and irrigation with mobile bars.

The adopted technologies allow each greenhouse to have a separate and adjustable microclimate, with temperature sensors, humidity control, and monitoring of atmospheric agents that trigger the opening/closing of windows or the activation of the irrigation system.

The in-house Research & Development department operates in sync with other departments to provide increasingly excellent products and solutions.
Vivai Bacchetto also boasts organic farming certification for the part of the facility dedicated to it.

In addition to cultivating plants for horticulture, the company has been involved in the production of medicinal plants for several years.
