Broccoli
Positive effects on eyes bones and teeth. Reduced risk of tumors.
Broccoli Description.
The broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. italica) is a flowering vegetable that belongs to the Brassicaceae family. Among the leaves, which are angular and dark green, grow the flower heads, which are harvested and consumed before they have fully matured. These round, dome-shaped flowers have a deep, uniform green color. Often, the stems, which are green and tender, are also eaten.
In the kitchen, they are valued for their high content of plant-based proteins (they contain the most among vegetables), their vitamin C and mineral content, and especially for their significant antioxidant and anti-cancer properties.
Vivai Bacchetto produces broccoli seedlings mainly in containers with 104, 170, and 228 holes.
Due to the pronounced sensitivity of this crop to certain phytopathological aspects, the company dedicates significant attention to prevention and monitoring.
