Positive effects on eyes bones and teeth. Reduced risk of tumors.
Description of Arugula.
Arugula (Eruca vesicaria), part of the Brassicaceae family, is a leafy vegetable, a hardy annual herb. Adult arugula plants can reach up to 50 cm in height. The leaves, which alternate along the stem, are lance-shaped with jagged edges. They are known for their strong aroma and characteristic vibrant, occasionally peppery flavor.
In the kitchen, arugula is beloved for its use in salads, either alone or mixed with other raw vegetables, and can be added to first and second courses, side dishes, and dressings (the famous arugula pesto).
It can truly be considered a health ingredient: it is rich in vitamin C, protects the liver and intestines, and strengthens the overall body. It is also used in infusions.
Arugula is typically transplanted with a cluster of 7-9 plants per cell.
It is primarily a summer crop: at Vivai Bacchetto, its peak production occurs between December and March.
