Description of Kholrabi.
Kholrabi (Brassica oleracea var. gongylodes) is a root vegetable belonging to the Brassicaceae family. The plant produces a stem that thickens at the base, forming a large, firm, and flattened sphere, which can be green, white, or purple in color and is intended for consumption. The dark, thick leaves are also edible after cooking.
Whether raw, cooked, juiced, or used as an ingredient in complex dishes, kholrabi is appreciated in the kitchen for its strong, aromatic flavor.
With a low calorie content, this vegetable offers several health benefits: it protects against infections and strengthens the immune system due to its high vitamin C content; it supports muscle and circulatory health through its mineral content; provides fiber to help maintain fitness; and is a powerful anticancer agent.
Continuous prevention and monitoring ensure that Vivai Bacchetto delivers perfectly healthy kholrabi seedlings, preferably in containers with 104, 170, and 228 holes.
