Description of Black Cabbage.
Black cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. acephala) belongs to the Brassicaceae family and is a leafy vegetable.
The plant is very rustic and resistant, producing no heads or sprouts, but only a tuft of arcuate, fleshy, and bumpy leaves, dark green in color, tending towards black.
To consume it, the central white rib of the leaves is removed, and the tender part is eaten.
In the kitchen, black cabbage is used to prepare a variety of dishes and is known for its exceptional health benefits. It is a powerful detoxifier for the liver and kidneys, has anticancer properties, and is rich in antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins.
Vivai Bacchetto maintains the health of black cabbage seedlings through careful monitoring and prevention. Typically, containers with 104, 170, and 228 holes are used.
