Artichoke
Positive effects on eyes bones and teeth. Reduced risk of tumors.
Artichoke Description.
The artichoke (Cynara scolymus) is a biennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Asteraceae family. This flower vegetable has an underground rhizomatous stem and an erect stalk with large, alternating, deep green leaves. From the second year of cultivation, it develops a floral stem with smaller, branched, and spiny leaves, a fleshy receptacle, and bracts (the so-called artichoke heart). Tasty, invigorating, rich in iron, cholesterol-lowering, and appetite-regulating, artichokes are excellent allies against hypertension, stimulate the liver, and protect the heart. They are famous for their intense and bitter taste.
Vivai Bacchetto exclusively produces seed-grown material. Production follows two methods, depending on seed germination capacity and vigor: either sown in a small container and later transplanted, or directly placed in the final container.
