Parsley

Parsley (Petroselinum sativum) is a stem vegetable belonging to the Apiaceae family. It is a biennial plant. The stems can reach up to 50 cm in height. The leaves are triangular with jagged and serrated edges, divided into three segments. The curly variety of this aromatic plant (Petroselinum sativum var. crispum) features denser, curlier leaf clusters and a more delicate flavor compared to the flat-leaf variety (Petroselinum sativum var. latifolium).

Used extensively in cooking for its aromatic and decorative qualities, parsley is often chopped to prepare sauces and seasonings, where it enhances the flavor of the dishes it is added to.

Parsley is not only delicious but also rich in vitamin C and calcium, as well as nutrients such as iron, potassium, and phosphorus. It helps regulate blood pressure, protects the health of skin, hair, and bones, and is a general remineralizer.
