Bell Pepper description.
The bell pepper ( Capsicum annuum) is a hardy plant that belongs to the Solanaceae family. It features an erect, branching stem that becomes woody as it grows. The fleshy fruit, which is elongated or swollen and hollow inside, is especially loved for its bold, versatile flavor and its high content of vitamin A, C, beta-carotene, potassium, and minerals.
The bell pepper cultivated by Vivai Bacchetto is a uniform plant, with well-developed roots and bright green foliage.
This is made possible by sowing in a 228-container and transplanting into a final container with 24 or 40 holes; proper management of temperature and ventilation in the greenhouses (especially in the mornings, using the “Cool Morning” technique); pre-extraction of the plant about a week before delivery, and targeted fertilization aimed at root development and maintaining lush, vibrant vegetation.
