Zucchini

Zucchini Description.
The zucchini (Cucurbita pepo) is an annual plant from the Cucurbitaceae family.
It has a flexible, herbaceous stem, which can be climbing or creeping, from which heart-shaped leaves and small to medium-sized fruits grow. The fruits are characterized by their elongated shape with a smooth skin that can be green or yellow, and a thin layer of fuzz. In addition to its particularly delicate and versatile
flavor, the fruit has several health benefits (it is low in calories and rich in folic acid, phosphorus, potassium, and manganese). In the kitchen, the yellow flowers are also appreciated for their taste and high calcium and B-vitamin content.
Due to its short cultivation cycle and pronounced sensitivity to fungal and bacterial diseases, the seed is chosen with extreme care. During sowing, the seed is placed horizontally in the soil imprint to prevent abnormal root development.
For the same reason, special attention is paid to the quantity and quality of covering materials.
