Bean
Positive effects on eyes bones and teeth. Reduced risk of tumors.
Bean description.
The bean is a seed vegetable that belongs to the Leguminosae family. It is an annual plant with a climbing, semi-erect, or dwarf habit, depending on the variety. It has alternate, heart-shaped leaves and small flowers that can be white, violet, pink, or reddish in color, shaped like butterflies. The fruits, the pods, contain up to 12
edible seeds, varying in appearance depending on the variety.
Tasty, nutritious, and with an excellent supply of plant-based proteins, the bean is the king of legumes and a truly complete food. It contains many vitamins (especially from the B group, A, C, and E), minerals, and trace elements. Its lecithin content helps lower blood cholesterol levels. It has always been the star ingredient in healthy and tasty recipes, whether in soups, side dishes, first or second courses, and even
enjoyed simply in a salad, it releases its warm and rich flavor.
To ensure better and quicker germination, Vivai Bacchetto grows bean plants in soil cells during the early spring months, using 40 and 60-hole containers.
